I'm sorry but I won't have pictures for this one!

My father is the one who initiated my entire Family to the Star Wars universe! For that, I always considered him as the almighty Jedi Master of our family! For his 50th birthday, I bought him a Redeemer, in honor of his favorite jedi, Obi-Wan kenobi!

THIS HILT IS A MASTERPIECE! Forged with respect for the original design, with solid and durable materials. All the details are there! This is, without a doubt, Obi-Wan's saber! When I received it, I wanted to keep it, simply because how beautiful it is! I can't do a ''big'' review since I never used it for dueling, but I'll do my best!

Pros:
- Solid and durable
- Very well designed and detailed
- No too heavy
- BEAUTIFUL (you never say it enough I guess)

Cons:
- That alimentation box kills the saber if you plan on using it for dueling! It makes it as uncomfortable as possible!

Perfect saber for cosplaying/displaying! Personnaly, if I had one, I would buy a stand and look at it all day long. I wouldn't dare duel with it, maybe because of the signification or the beautie of the saber!

On a scale of one to 10, this saber earns a 10! Beautiful, Solid, Affordable! What else can you ask for?

I have ALWAYS wondered about this…if the Initiate redeemer came with holes predrilled on the left side of the activation box for greeblies, or if it was blank. THANK YOU!!!

God I freaking love this saber so much.

I love all three of the thin-neck designs. I opted for the Exhalted myself, for exactly the same reasons that Revan stated above. It is the most practical choice of the three for dueling IMHO, but for aesthetics, and sheer beauty, the Redeemer and the Prodigal Son take the prize!

Hi All, new to the world of lightsabers (well collecting them) and currently mulling over purchasing the redeemer champion version. Can anyone offer any insight into what version of blue best matches Obi Wans from ROTS, I'm not certain whether it would be medium blue or darker?

Also how often do Saberforge run their coupons? Being based in the UK, a small amount off would be good as no doubt I'll feel a customs sting...

Not sure about the correct shade of blue, but on the subject of sales/coupons, I saw a post on SFs Facebook page saying that they would likely not be running any sales until they dig themselves out of the queue of work they have been trying to work through since late last year. They are hiring more people, and expanding facilities, but that will take some time to have an effect on the current lead time. Once they do make some progress, and figure they can handle the added influx of orders, they will run another sale.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Deep blue would be more accurate for prequel colors, and artic blue more accurate for original trilogy, such as luke's first lightsaber. :)

I wouldn't be too worried about a customs charge here in the UK, having ordered two sabers recently I didn't incur any extra charges other than the Parcelforce handling fee which totalled a very reasonable £21 for both sabers together!

Thanks for the responses and feedback. Think it will be a medium blue when ordering, seen a couple of youtube videos of the deep blue (in both light / dark environments) and it appears to have a purple tint to it, although colours never show brilliantly on camera but a down the middle choice would be best...I hope!

I have always been a fan of the Obi- ROTS Hilt over the Luke- ROTJ Hilt. I always felt that this Hilt had more of a Tactical look to it along with the Qui-Gon Hilt. The Redeemer will probably be the 2nd Hilt I get after I get the Guardian.

Wait so the initiate redeemer does have the holes on the side predrilled? Does the activation box work if I decide to add electronics down the line because I'm seriously considering this hilt to sit on my shelf next to my reliant and monarch
