My new sabers arrived a few days ago! I purchased the Reliant and the Redeemer. I thought I'd show off the Reliant as there aren't that many pictures of them out there.

I am in the process of slightly modifying the appearance of the Reliant at the moment and have removed some of the weathering to better match the sabers from the Force Unleashed 2 trailer:





I have also removed the grip and want to replace it with something. The grip in these pictures IS NOT what I want to end up with, but is there for the time being (it will also definitely not be held together with a hairband!)

I want something that looks weathered and beaten. My impression of the sabers when I first saw them was that they were normal hilts and that Starkiller had wrapped whatever piece of cloth he could find around for more comfort. Probably because he was using them so much. This is one of my favourite things about Star Wars - the lived in feel.

















Not sure what to go for as a wrap yet though. I'm thinking either black cotton bar tape or a distressed dark brown leather. The blade colour is LIME GREEN.

Also the part of the choke where the weathering hasn't been removed fully is because I haven't decided yet whether or not to remove it, but for now I quite like the half and half look!

That is a sweet looking reliant!! Love the customization you're doing with it. I look forward to it's end goal, as well =D Also, I think the weathering looks amazing, with what you've done. Very nice touch!

Hey that is a Beautiful looking reliant you got there!! I just ordered my own reliant. It's my first light saber ever and god i am so excited to get it. I don't know if i will modify it like you have but i just wanted to say that i love what you did with yours!

Reliant has always been a favorite of mine. One of my all time top5! Sweet sabers.

Can't wait to see the finished product!
