Say no more, it's all in the videos.

11/10 for a top saber by SF! :)

That saber looks so beautiful! I have a question, you said its solid, but it also looks heavy, is it? Or is it just the right weight? That weathered look is so nice on it. Goes very well with the Blood Orange.

Great looking Saber. Nice reviews too. It looks quite cumbersome and difficult to wield when you had it by the pool. Do the crossguards get in the way? What's the weight balance like? I've always pondered the practical use of the Relic without blades in the side emitters but just plugs instead to show the light and utilise the main blade only...

Yes, it's on the heavier side compared with other sabers. That's because it has more emitters obviously and the cross guard design itself. I would think most cross guards are heavier than traditional saber.

The side emitters require getting used to, so it's a whole "new way" of Jedi / Sith saber dueling skill. You need new training just like if you were spinning a staff. It's different.

You can definitely just use the main emitter and install the side plugs or leave the side LED shinning out to blind all who look into it. It's a Sith advantage ....

Nice videos! If that was me I'd probably end up dropping the saber in the pool.

Once my stash of Republic credits recovers from my ASP pledge and the Korbanth kit I've ordered (that I still need to buy internals for), a crossguard saber is next on my list! I'm leaning more toward the Templar emitter, but I want the Relic pommel and a different body. Definitely in a black or weathered finish with red blades.

Beautiful saber! Did you have to request the 12W+, or did you automatically get it with your order? Also, how long did it take for the saber to arrive? I ordered mine about a week ago and am curious about the wait times! Thanks!

These were my thoughts as well. Thanks for the follow up Execute66. I always enjoyed the design of the saber but wondered how practical it was. It looks amazing on these videos though.

Any idea how hard it'd be to switch out leds in it? Since no quick disconnect I'm curious. Cause id love to be able to switch between Amber and Arctic Blue.

The difficulty would be determined by how good you are with a soldering iron. Though if you plan on doing this frequently you may want to install some quick connects yourself. SF uses Dean's Micro Plugs (the versions that have only 1 leg in the side that connects together, that way you won't accidently cross polarity).

Getting the LED unit out would be fairly easy; just loosen the retention screw and it will slide out.

Hey Ex, acknowledged that you favour Video Reviews of your fine collections, wondering
(if not too much trouble) if you could take a picture for me of your Relic ignited with only the main blade in and both side emitters plugged? Am still fond of this Hilt and granted the appeal to me defeats the purpose of a cross-guard, my curiosity is increasing towards acquisition with intended use of main blade only.

I've had a Templar in the past, and it seemed smaller than that. How is the handling on the Relic? Is it easy to hold it with two hands? And how is the handling? Is it easy to swing around?

I'm sorry for all these questions, but I'm curious. It looks like a very massive saber.

Outside of that, it is a very impressive and badass saber. Congratulations on your purchase. Nice review mate ;)!

Yes, it's a much heavier saber than many of my other sabers. It's on the heavy side but still feels very solid like the real thing a Sith might use! It is easier to handle using both hands than one but I mean it just looks awesome and that more than compromises the weight factor.

I never really liked the cross guard when TFA trailers appeared and Kylo Ren's saber didn't appeal to me. But the Relic is perfect. I have the Templar on order when it re-appeared in Etsy last month just because I am now impressed by the Relic. The side blades and main blade are super bright and very bold. It's a saber that has more presence than most others I think.

Happy to read it. I wasn't a fan of the crossguard sabers as well, but after wielding my Templar for a while, I fell in love with the concept. I sold my Templar, but I'm now working on a Korbanth Kylo (Which is the most accurate version of Kylo's saber up to now). Gonna make sure to post pictures!

Anyway, thank you very much for answering my questions my friend :)! Enjoy your saber!
