So Knytiri's gone. He was one of the two people directly behind this RP, which seems to have ground to a halt here. I know Aletani made one offsite for folks who wanted to take part, but what about this place? I feel like it should be an RP, but like a freeform RP community, where characters are timeless and can encounter other people's OCs in whatever predetermined time period is determined for that RP. In honor of the Big Red, I'd love to start this place up.

Exactly. However, I feel like (as I stated), rather than being a story driven RP as was first hypothesized by Aletani and Knytiri, it could be a sort of time-limbo RP where OCs just kind of exist without being confined to a certain time period. Obviously that'd mean no canon/retcon-canon characters, so no 'Revan meets Kylo Ren' RPs, but it'd still be fantastic, I think. Plus, it might even give me an excuse to keep fleshing out my OC/fan character Eddlyss' story and personality. |

Lex (Aletani) had said that she was going to delete the thread at one point, but it has not happened yet. I don't know what her current thinking is on the subject, but before you commit too heavily to the area, you might want to send her a PM to let her know that you would like to keep using the area for RP purposes, even though it might not be what she and Josh intended when it was started.
That way, you ensure that you don't invest a lot of time and RP energy into something that could disappear. I don't have any plans to do so, but her power surpass my own by orders of magnitude.  If she is cool with it, I sure have no issues with things going on as they are. If it does go on, I will have to rely on you guys to let me know if things start going askew, as I tend to scan over the content in this thread, but I don't read every line of every post. |

I think if she wanted to advertise to the public where it was moving she would have posted it herself. As it is she asked people to PM her.

To end all speculatory discussion, I will be PMing Aletani forthwith. That will give us the answer.
@Brax, I've run quite a few freeform RP communities, so I can act as an unofficial mod to this community if we get the green light, and I'm sure other more experienced members would do the same. |
