may i sugest the guardian as an dueling saber because
while thin neck sabers are nice they are bit more sensative than other sabers
sabers own: prodigal son,classic epouch vers 2
sabers i want ? Guardian,Count,exalted, legacy 1 and protector,archon and fallen

Yeah I was Worried about the thin neck but return of the Jedi was my favorite of the series, so maybe later on with all the bells and whistles as a prop.
Would the Gaurdian be something that you could heavy swing an also use one handed?

I know it has been a while and you have probably found your answer already, but I think this video does a good job demonstrating the Saberforge durability.
As a side note, the last hilt used in the video is a thin neck and he seems to give it quite a bit of force, so I am sure you will be fine with whichever hilt calls to you (unless it is one of the like three Crystal Reveal hilts, but they are specifically identified as not for dueling)
Anyway, as I said, I am sure this answer is reaching you too late, but I just joined the forums and when I read your thread without an answer at the end I thought "Ooo I remember watching a good durability video."
