I'm looking to gut a champion tier hilt for some body work and I'm not sure where to start. I want to keep the soundcard, LED, and speaker as intact as possible for reuse/sale. Any advice?

Have you already got it? I've never actually thought about doing that, but now that I do, it sounds pretty difficult. Seems like at first it might be easy to just clip wires at the periphery, but the further in you go, the more difficult it'll be to get clippers in.

Process should be the same as other hilts.

1) Slide out the battery/soundboard sled (might need to remove c-clips with an SF hilt)
2) Slide out LED unit (need to remove retention screw and/or c-clip on SF hilt)
3) Should have access to remove switch(es) now (remove nut and/or hot glue)
4) Desolder/snip switch and recharge port wires
5) Remaining electronics should slide out through the pommel

SF hilts seem to have 1" Emitter and Switch IDs with wider bodies (My ASP Body 10 has a roughly 1 1/8" ID - appears to be the same as previous Gladius models, and the old Reliants were up to 1 3/16" ID. As long as the switches are removed first, everything should be able to slide through the body and out the pommel.
