So I'm going to do a custom install with a Prizm board into a SF Gladius and I'm curious about what LED I should use since there are so many options.
I'm Debating between simply using: an indigo 12W+ LED from Saberforge OR a Tri Cree XP-E2 in Red, Royal Blue and White for Flash on Clash. I would like FOC but I also want to keep nice blueish purple that the Indigo LED Offers. If I resistor everything properly could I get a nice indigo color along with FOC? And one Last thing, I tried to do research on which LED is brighter and I cant seem to find anything all that helpful. So which LED is brighter Saberforge's legendary 12w+ or a Tri Cree with only 2 dyes active? And if the 12w+ is brighter how much brighter is it compared to the Tri Cree XP-E2? Thank You!!! |

If you are using a Plector Labs soundboard (like the PRIZM), I'd recommend sticking with the R/rB/W Tri-Cree, and doing some color mixing to achieve the shade of purple you want.
