I really want a bane but i pretty recently pledged for the kickstarter and i was wondering if its possible to use the electronics from asp (soundcard and led) and install it in the bane hilt.
Im asking this because the hilt is very different from the other hilts so if any experienced saber owner could help out that'd be great! Also this is the 2nd time im posting this, it didnt show up the first time for some reason... |

Sorry about that. With the advent of the new security procedures, I approve messages every time I am on the site, but there are still some specifics about the process that I am just figuring out. In the meantime, be patient, and try to resist the temptation to double post. Rest assured it will get better.

As far as I can tell, the ASP electronics are composed of the same 1" LED units and 12mm AV switches that are stuffed into standard hilts. You might have some trouble connecting wires since the hilt won't come apart, but everything should otherwise be compatible.
