As this is not a Saberforge product I understand if the mods need to delete this thread...

I don't yet own any Saberforge Sabers as I always will have more important toys to buy (for the Kids! lol), but when I get chance then I still play with building my own.
I've done a couple of Force FX conversions (Darth Vader, Yoda, Kit Fisto) and a few empty stunt builds using cheap parts, this is my latest.

It started off being a test for some Saltwater etching but I liked it - so pulled the electronics from one of my other home made sabers and put them in this.
It now houses a Nano Biscotte V2 with a red-red-green Tri-Cree. Using one Red and Green together for the main LED to give yellow with the second red coming in for Flash on clash.

The SWTOR Sith Symbol wasn't as sharp as the rest of the lines, but it works for a relic/weathered look and the etched pattern gives a great grip.

You need to make a start to get the experience ;)

And I don't have many tools myself, nothing more fancy than a Dremel and drill were used on this. I'm happy with how it turned out though.

Alas my hands are not steady enough for that kind of work. Had a mishap when I was younger and now I shake slightly. Makes accurate work like this very difficult.

But I can still admire good workmanship!

The outer tube is cut from a 1.5" alloy aerial mast. There is another tube inside the outer tube (1 and 3/8ths" diameter I think), which houses the heatsink and electronics.
The pommel end is cut from a cheap LED flashlight but fits quite well and adds some extra detail, plus the speaker fits nicely.

Added a new shroud to hide the untidy Sith logo from before.

This will now have a red blade once I've rewired it.

Absolutely gorgeous!

I wish I had the time and equipment to try out stuff like that! I'd be drilling and dremelling all day! ;)

Congrats on creating such a beauty!

Share the pictures once you have rewired it please!

I am currently fitting my kit fisto fx lightsaber with a red led. I want to convert my kylo ren one but it just seems too difficult. Good job on both sabers!

That detail is actually very, very cool! You're onto something with this saltwater etching stuff.

@Takamatsu,
This looks awesome¬ Have seen this saber so many times doing google searches and have always admired it. Got a few projects of my own I want to try but I'm waiting on the ASP to launch so I can build a pair of matching hilts.

Great job.

Thank you to everyone for the positive comments, I was happy in the saber myself but knowing that others appreciate it too makes it even better.

Very cool and nicely done. You should be proud of the hard work. Looks pretty deep for acid etching? How'd you accomplish it?

One small piece of constructive criticism for any future projects. They look a bit busy. Sometimes less is more. Definitely way better than anything I could do so again, congrats!
