You have none with quick connects Knytiri??
That seems so odd to me lol.
My first couple sabers I bought w/quick connects but I didn't opt for option on my last several sabers. Sometimes the QCs seem more trouble than their worth and I've come to appreciate the "permanence" of a particular color on a specific hilt. *shrugs* Omitting QCs also means there's one less thing to break as the saber ages.

My surprise was more in the fact that he had none. At least you've had or still have a couple, but not zero.

I'm well aware of and know the benefit of a strong and permanent solder. But sometimes, I'm indecisive and would like to have the option of change. For instance, I originally purchased my saber in red, then got 4 other LEDs until recently when I found the one I really like in it. So without that option, I wouldn't have been able to find the colour I really like and prefer for this hilt. To go forward if I choose, as I have the skills to do so, I can cut the quick connects and solder the wires to have a permanent colour and a strong led wiring connection… or leave them as is and keep the ability to change colours still but risk a lost/open connection to the path of flow. So yes, there are pros and cons to both wiring scenarios.
