Hi everyone,
I have a custom idea to see whether it will work or not. This is an idea I have from the ASP. I wonder is there a way to have a male thread of the Fallen to connect with another Body 06. |

You could use a very short staff coupler to connect the sections.

Achievable, if using a MM Coupler however additional length will result. The LP Coupler scifidude references creates abnormally sharp edges (due to the nature of the design for the vents) however the premise with dual Male threads is the same. |

Thanks for advice. I did leave out something. Actually, I don't want it that long. About 13-14 in.

That body section is 5 inches long. So, two of those are 10 inches without the other parts. You'd be hard pressed to add a switch section, emitter and pommel to two of those and wind up only 13 to 14 inches long.

in your pic it looks like you cut the Fallen emitter in half?? the Fallen is almost 5" long itself and I believe it's a one piece. so like scifidude79 said 10" for the two bodies + 2" for switch + 5" emitter = 17"+/- So unless you start cutting pieces apart, I don't think you'll be able to get it to the size you want with all the parts you want. |

I guess you're right. I did thought about cutting a part of the Fallen, leaving some space so I can have a male thread. Guess it wasn't a good plan. Another daring question, I thought about getting the same "Fallen" style emitter from TCSS, but of course I know the threading is different, even if I ignore the thread, is the size of the emitter right enough since I don't know the measurements of Body 06?

Don't know to agree/disagree with the latter part but whilst the threads are indeed different, a custom made internal adapter can be used to marry the two different identities..

Actually part of the daring question, is it possible I can ask TCSS to not thread the emitter, leaving it unthread, then ask someone who knows about the ASP thread and then thread it? I know it's just a thought. I completely understand that customizing with such thought is crazy and seems disrespectful to both companies due to their own artistic views of their product.

How about you talk to the custom shop and do away with the switch section all together? Maybe you can get them to install the switch holes in separate couplers as an alternative method.

Quite possible and just takes an email to enquire about it..

or without re-threading it, move forward with a slip-fit application secured by either setscrew or button head?.. (discrepancies between the two opposing IDs would still dictate whether an adapter is still required or not)
