Just saw this on the FB feed:
Our new Datachron MK1 in silver/blue with LED remote controlled base that makes it look like it is hovering in the pics. Red/Brass version pics coming later today. quote from Phil on it:
They are a thing, there going to be 69.99 with the led base and 59.99 without, a diy build your own kit will be 39.99. We will be adding them to the site and etsy tomorrow. The shrouds will be offered in silver brass or copper and the colored panels will be available in every color. This is MK1 but we plan on adding more patterns down the road if these take off.

Heh, this reminds me that I've had a Propfunk holocron kit sitting in my backroom for months now waiting for assembly. These are some slick looking pieces, though; I might have to pick up one of the red/brass ones.
