I have said it before, and it seems appropriate now...

We're NOT WORTHY!!!

But, I digress...

One bit of information I would like to see included, is that which would help someone decide between ordering a pristine "shelf queen", a certified full contact combat saber, or something in between. Some who come here have some idea which way they want to go based on their intended use, but with more information about the differences, why you might go one way vs. the other, and the considerations that go into what options to get, depending on which you want - they could make a more informed decision, and one that they can live with. Also, perhaps some information to the effect that, with the exception of the crystal reveal models, if you decide to go from "Shelf Queen" to full combat, it can be retrofit with additional options later if desired.

Do you think that would be helpful?
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Probably, but then I can hardly see anything. lol. I'll just focus on being more careful in the future while on my phone, and in the meantime, focus on using the computer instead, lol.

Is there some way to make this more prominent/visible on the board? Around 30% of the topics started in the last day are answered in this FAQ.

It's in two locations and stickied in both, people just need to CLICK it and read it instead of just posting their questions without checking to see if they've already been answered, imo, lol.

Edit: changed the name, to hopefully attract newcomers attention more, and added color coding for easier visual navigation.

This FAQ on first time buyers to buying custom Sabers has answered all my questions. For me it comes to money and what I can afford. I can always get the Intimate Elite Hilt and have SF down the road install the electronics for me at a later time or go with a Champion Hilt, as the Hero Hilt is pretty awesome but I don't have deep pockets for that, the Hero Hilt cost as much as Glock Firearm.

Thanks for answering all my questions, now I have to decide what type Elite Level I want to spend my money on. Right now I'm looking at Pre-release Sabers, I like the Phoenix and the Sorcerer....just got to decide which one I like the most.

I hope Pre-release Sabers like the Phoenix, Ka' Tano, Destiny and Sorcerer become Standard Sabers on the SF Page.

The Phoenix has been fairly popular (so standard seems likely), the Destiny will live on as ASP parts, the Ka'Tano is the only one that seems a bit on the iffy side but ya'never know.

good question for me to add to the details for hero tier; yes and no. Depends on which LED setup you go with. If you have the RGBA setup, yes, and you can customize what color it flashes. If you go the 6/6/12 LED setup, yes. It'll flash the opposite color. If you have the single 12W setup, nope... as it doesn't have any other LED die to flash. :)

I've read over all of the points listed and quite a few of the comments after and I don't believe I saw anything about this so I figured I'd ask myself.

If I were to buy the empty initiate level hilt, I'm aware I can buy the LED component on its own for future installation, but I don't see an option to buy any kind of sound board. Is it possible to buy the sound boards after the fact or is the only way to get one to buy a champ/hero level complete saber? And if it IS possible to buy the sound board if bought at the same time as the LED component would it be possible to have them "attached" (not sure if that's the right word for this....have them put together to function as normal) seeing as I have NO experience with wiring or soldering or anything of that sort.......basically I'm asking if its possible to buy the hilt now while I'm dead broke and once i have more cash buy the guts to put in?

I'm very sorry if this has been asked before and answered or if i just look like a total idiot.....im just really stoked to buy a few of these....but $600 (i plan on buying 2 for a costume im putting together) is a little much to drop all at once for the full champ set up
