Hi all, fresh meat for the grinder here. New to the hobby, old with the force. My son has been into SW since birth thanks to me, and now he is old enough to appreciate my original figures and ships. So naturally I just ordered us both some champion level sabers from the Etsy store.

Got him a Redeemer with a green blade and myself an Exhalted with the Blood Orange. I literally scoured the Internet and watched like every YouTube video I could find about Saberforge before I pulled the pin and placed the order. Now I just have to mind wipe myself while the wait begins so I don't go crazy.

Crossing my fingers they get here before his birthday in February.

Anyway, great forum y'all have here.

To Adrillian, there is a good thread started by Cronos discussing Cosplay and costumes right now, and he has included some great pics as well. This is also a great place to get advice when your Saber "chooses" you and you want to know more about the Saber you order!

To Bossman, nice to welcome another gentleman who has the pleasure of rekindling/re-enforcing their love of Sabers, Star Wars and all, while introducing the next generation of fans! It's a great place to share experiences.

A new participant from Sydney Australia.

I have always had a fascination with the most recognised weaponry known today and past dreams have turned present collaborations to future wielding.

I would like to praise and acknowledge credit to all Forum Users within the pages of this site, for if it weren't for the collective efforts of each and everyone of you, my knowledge of the discipline that is the LightSaber would be limited. For several weeks now over countless repeated days I have searched, read and absorbed all the exchanges that have taken place here in an attempt to comprehend all the different variables that are associated. Far from being any expert but my eyes are certainly much wider as a result.

If timing were different, I would be more than happy to share, show & appreciate with admiration, my collection, but sadly this stands at zero. In time, this tale will be different as hopefully in a matter of months my former dream will be realised.

I have knowingly reviewed information indirectly from the shadows as an observer but in order to thank all contributors (impossible to specifically name everyone) I step forward into the foreground to make this introduction. Questions raised, answers replied, opinions offered, experience shared. Be it result from direct exchange or passively noted, the combined value has been immeasurable-Thank you.

I aim to learn and familiarise myself with what features are important versus what appeals to each individual. I aim to own an ultimate creation soon.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to future exchanges within these pages where knowledge is shared stemming from a mutual interest.

Glad you finally joined the forum! I too lurked for several months before making my order then joining, and it helped me immensely. I still keep trying to thank people now and then!
Your journey and training has truly begun and I hope you'll share it with us through your posts.
You may already have found the members here to be friendly and any questions you have they will be able to answer I'm sure.(I noticed you'd read the forum rules and probably the FAQ's page so I don't need to mention them!)
