Today I received my empty ASP Prodigal Son. Nice piece of work. But I have two questions

1- The switch box has two holes and I have two dummy buttons. What I will do if i order an ASP electronic. Will it come with a separate switch? I have the copper plate but no any spring mechanism to install it. How am I going to install?

2- There is no led module (heat sink) retention screw. How am I going to install led?

To clarify, is it an ASP or just an Initiate Tier?

1. Since you ordered it as an empty you received the dummy switches to install which come standard for an empty hilt. If you order electronics later. It will come with a rechargeable battery that you will have to remove to recharge and the bottom hole will remain a dummy switch. In a champion tier the bottom hole in the switch box is where the charge port and low-profile kill key go. Since the switch is part of the electronics, you will probably have to order one separately somewhere else to install for the time being to sit your card on. Thems the breaks when you order an empty hilt, especially where this isn't a true clamp box where you could have just slid the card in place but this requires the switch to sit on.

2. There is no retention screw for the led module. It's held in place with a snap ring.

Thank you for the answer. But I did not understand the switch part. The switch is not high enough to create retention to the copper plate.

Hi, I hope I've understood your question:

Looking at your photo (and this is just a guess, as I've never done this before), when you get your electronics kit, there will be a whole "switch mechanism" that goes under either of the little silver buttons, so they will sit on top of a switch and sit flush with the "control box" top.

Does that make sense?

I believe that the electronics for PS has some special parts? So do I need to mention that I own a PS ASP while ordering electronics?
