I like the Bastion but I don't like the pommel. Does anyone know if an ASP pommel would work on it?

I don't think so. So far, only the Vanquish is compatible with ASP parts. He lies, don't listen.

Pommels are compatible across the SF lineup (except for the current iteration of the Bane).

One more caveat: while the pommel/body threading is compatible across the line some pommels are not compatible with some bodies if the body has extended portions at its' base. Ex. Disciple/Acolyte or Sinister Prophecy :

h2, I'll conclude that (by extension to OPs query) it's not just limited to Apprentice, which is exciting to know as I have been toying with the idea of swapping out some stock Pommels with the ASP Parts. With reference to your caveat, why aren't angle-cut/protrusion/extended Pommels compatible? Isn't it a matter of the circular-ended male thread that screws against the female Body regardless of the Part design?

Some of them don't fit because of the width of the base of the pommel right above the threading:

The Gladius pommel (and probably the Venom), however, fits because no portion of it is wider than the inner diameter of the body:

And my bad on mentioning the Sinister Prophecy not fitting, I miss-saw that the Venom pommel "core" was screwed into the Sinister Prophecy pommel:

Understood. I had actually thought the Pommel was the entire rear piece and would butt-up against the Body Section.

The Sinister Prophecy pommel works like that; that's why I was wrong about not being able to attach other pommels to it.

 All is well Sir. If anything, it's more my bad as I had always believed that the Acolyte/Disciple entire rear section was the Pommel however it's apparent the recessed black anodised score up to the angled-cut is one piece with just the insert that=the Pommel. A detachable Nub/Navel for the times when you want your outy to become an inny. :P

Hey All,

So I was reading through the threads and wanted to make sure I didn't create a thread which has already been answered. But from my understanding if it is a similar saber. Most ASP will work with some complete SF sabers?

I ask because I would so love the idea of buying a spare thin neck and extension piece for my Redeemer in the unlikely event I break it

Any info would be appreciated! :cheer:
