Hi guys, new here. A few weeks ago my housemate and I decided to buy a Saber each (champion edition) with the new Sabercore 3 Soundboards... However, we've run into some problems, Her saber doesn't turn off (LED ring on the on/off switch remains on constantly) and my saber is now stuck on one font, even when selecting another font on the saber it will only play "font 1" I've tried uninstalling all fonts and reinstalling via the "burn to disk" method but still nothing, would appreciate any help!

If you haven't already, send an email to SaberForge Customer Service for further troubleshooting.

This! Had a similar issue. Firmware update resolved it immediately.
I'm curious to hear if that will work in your case as well.

Thanks for posting the Firmware Update as an option for resolving the issue of Font 1 only being chosen. I really do think it should be used as a last resort before RMA.

I just got my champion tier saber earlier this week and was super pumped. Haven't even gotten to use it in a lightsaber fight yet and it is already doing this thing where no matter what font I switch it to (I chose one of each type) it always plays the Dark Side Relic soundfont, which is frankly the least cool of all 3. Then after about 10 seconds, it just shuts off. I do not have the soundfont editor because I do not have a computer, just a tablet, so I cannot connect it to try the methods mentioned above. Considering I spent $300, having it stop working properly within a few days is pretty frustrating. Any ideas?

As you press the button to cycle through the three fonts, do you hear the audio saying the name of each one? If so, it is just a matter of getting the timing right on hearing the font name, and hitting the button again the select the correct one. It is a difference between short presses, and long presses that can make the difference.

Take a look at the Intro Video to watch the technique.

Here is another outstanding video covering SC3 by a very knowledgeable source.

Whereabouts is the latest firmware update available or is it simply just the latest version available for download on the saberforge website ?

There is a .SC3 file included with the configuration app.

The .sc3 file is in the folder where you unzipped the editor.
There is a button that says update firmware in the main editor screen where the fonts are.
There is no Light, There is no Dark, There is only the Force!
