How about a fun and interesting thread on unconventional part sourcing?
Seems like everything is 3D printed these days and I don't see too much scratch building or interesting ways to adopt parts for builds. So, for those of you that build, modify, tinker, or design sabers - lets see some of your unconventional parts and sourcing. Scratch build mentality! Oooh, I would like to see what you can do with that. Eventually I'd like to add on a chamber for mine, whenever it ships, and I could use some ideas.

Materials: 3.5" Hard drive spindle plate 5/32" and 1/8" brass tubes brass wire 3/4" ID copper pipe coupler (.97 OD) 1/2" ID copper pipe coupler braided steel wire stainless Steel friction pins 1" OD TCSS heatsink/LED housing 3D printed "Sith" crystal Common anode 5mm RGB LED (Red and Green wired - Red main with a FOC to yellow)
