I am new to saberforge I've heard a lot of good things but also a lot of bad things. This morning I ordered a Acolyte Saber champion tier and I was wondering how long it would take to ship the item. Do certain sabers take longer to ship?

FAQ says 8-10 weeks. I got my 1st etsy order on the 9th week. It was a Templar. There's a video of a custom templar and he explains how challenging the 3 emitter are and praises the work it takes to put together this particular saber.

First off welcome to the wild world of Saberforgeforum! How long a saber takes to be delivered is a difficult question to answer.
I will say that there is a thread called "The Wait Begins.." which has many forum members/customers who are waiting on deliveries you might like to look at.Also check out Knytiri's Frequently Asked Questions on the intro page.
However there are many factors that affect the time it takes, some of which are,

1) How popular the saber model is and the availability of parts for it.
2) The number of orders in the queue ahead of you. Also there is a difference in the way shipping labels are used.
Saberforge have had a BIG rise in orders due to Christmas and the new Star Wars film release, but have started to get the wait time down.
3) Whether you ordered from the main Saberforge site or another site called Etsy.

There are other factors, but this section of the forum is for members to write reviews of sabers they have received, so I would suggest you check out the other thread to hear more details about shipping.
