As an IGG backer/pre-order-er... I'm perfectly fine with the Kickstarter backers getting theirs first. They've been waiting a long time for this, and it was their money that got this project rolling to begin with.
From what I understand from the last time Kyntiri spoke on the issue, they're going to fill the KS orders, then roll directly into the IGG orders, then go live/public with the Saber Builder once those are all done. There were just under 2000 backers on KS, and just a little over 1100 on IGG. Considering they were initially only planning on 100 or so in total, I think the delay in getting going is not only understandable, but inevitable. I personally am not gonna start getting squirmy for mine until about the middle of March. In the meantime, I expect this place to start blowing up with awesome ASP saber show-off posts in (hopefully) the next 2-3 weeks. |

I'm not saying I did a happy dance when I read that...but I'm not saying I didn't, either.
I really like the look of that hilt with the rebel emitter. Makes me think of ideas for my next one. |

Yes! Man this is exciting! Those parts look fantastic. All you KS backers better post your creations when they start rolling in and give us IGG backers something to perv on till ours show up.

I really don't see how there'll be a problem handling both KS and indiegogo at the same time. I mean, yeah dibs but that really doesn't matter when we're all basically gonna get the same quality of product. Just to say you got yours first? Cmon guys lets not think like elitists here. Like, I was around when KS was going on, but I didn't have $300 bucks just to magically spend, I would've backed them but I don't got that sort of cash, so when IGG came out I thought of it as a second chance. Just my opinion, you don't have to agree with it because I respect everyone's opinion.

The 12w+ LED has completely replaced the normal 12w LED as of a few weeks ago.

I know we all want our ASP sabers.It has nothing to do with elitism but instead that I and other KS backers have been waiting since putting in an order in june of last year tieing up money that could have been used to buy and have already recived 2 saberforge sabers even at the long wait. So someone who put in an order in January should be fulfilled after all kickstarter backers have been delivered. Not at same time but sequentially just like any other order system first come first serve. Sorry if I've been a bit salty tonight the seas have been rough and the journey has been long. |

I was on the Saberforge Facebook page and I read this in the comments this should answer your guys question on how KS and IGG are being handled. I just copied and pasted the question and the answer from Saberforge Facebook page
William Sullivan: I have a question will indiegogo backers will be shipped with the kickstarter backers? Saberforge: No the Kickstarter rewards will ship first, then when they have all gone out we will start on Indiegogo, when both have completely shipped we will start selling ASP to the public. |

there are a lot of large hex bolts visible on these sabers (between the buttons, on the emitters) .. is this a thing on regular sabers too? Or just part and parcel of the ASP construction?

I think it may have to do more with what parts/saber you select. The regular version of the Avenger has the hex bolts on the emitter as well, (though they appear to be countersunk a bit more), while others don't have any at all. |

Also remember that all of the hilts in those pictures were probably test assembled, photographed, and then broken back down into the component parts for shipping. I'd imagine that some of the screws and bolts were not tightened down completely as a result.

Actually, that kind of makes sense, since the Indigogo campaign started after the Kickstarter concluded. So, the first folks to order will be the first folks to take delivery, and once they have satisfied both campaigns in the order received, then it is time for everyone else to get in on the sweetness   !

Very true. They probably just grabbed the first handful of saber parts that were ready.

I imagine they will be making large batches of each of the parts, then they'll fill the backers' orders in pledge order. Based on the email we received that asked us to list the parts we need in a very particular order, they must have a master list of all the parts that were ordered, so they know that they need X number of Venom emitters, and Y number of purple LED modules, etc. And it is much more efficient for them to make a bunch of parts and then start filling the orders from that then it would be to make only the parts needed for order #1, then make the parts needed for order #2 and so on.
