Hey everyone! So I noticed in the most recent KS update that the hilt on the bottom has an Epoch emitter. I noticed that the windows and the switch section are not on the same side. Looks a little off to me. I had picked an Epoch emitter myself and was hoping it would face the other way. I heard a rumor that our ASP kits would come with "spacers" that allow us to adjust the alignment any way we want. Is this still the case?

The switch is independent of the emitter. You can line it up so the switch is underneath, opposite, or whatever relative to the emitter windows.

As far as anything I've heard, yes, ASPs will come with clocking rings/spacers so you can line parts up however you want to.

Though Knytiri would have a better, more up to date answer on that one. I'm still just going off something Phil said like three months ago.

Official word about the launch of the ASP shop!
Thank you all so much for your patience and your support, we could not have done it without you, after some unexpected delays to upgrade our facility to be compliant with OSHA safety standards we are fully operational and ASP sabers are rolling off the assembly line.

Below are pictures of the first batch of ASP hilts. Production will ramp up very quickly over the next few weeks and we plan to have all of our Kickstarter orders shipped out this month.

For those of you who would like to purchase additional ASP sabers we will start selling ASP sabers and parts after all of our backer orders have gone out.

MAY THE FORGE BE WITH YOU ALL!

So, the Kickstarter backers orders are being assembled and shipped, which would imply when that backlog is cleared, regular orders for ASP parts should become available.

Not long now folks!

*Disclaimer - I am not an official spokesman, or representative of SaberForge. Only Knytiri, and his customer service staff have that distinction. I am only sharing what I, as a Kickstarter contributor, learned about the state of things via e-mail.

I assume this has been asked at some point, but how does this affect regular(non-asp) orders as well?
Blades:

1. Consular yellow (Confirmed)
2. Epoch green (Shipped 3/8/2015!)
3. Dark Reclaimer (ASP service not yet available)

It doesn't, regular sabers through the store and through Etsy are still being made at their original shop. I'm fairly sure that only ASP parts and sabers are being made in the new facility that they had to get OSHA certified.

Yeah. We were told that the KS orders would start shipping mid-February...so you're ahead of schedule!

I'm one of the Indigogo orders...so I'm curious what the projected length of the KS orders is. Should Indigogo start shipping early March or mid March?

Keep us in the loop guys!

I'm so upset with myself that I missed out on this opportunity. I just made my first purchase from the SF site a week ago and missed out on the ASP by a few weeks. Can't wait to see what everyone has come up with. I'm sorry if this has been posted somewhere else but when will the new website be up? I thought I read end of Feb/March but I could be wrong.

That's about the closest we have to a timeline right now, Andi, but it's not official. Their hope is to be done with the Kickstarter orders by end of Feb; not sure if that includes IGG preorders.

I am fine with waiting until end of March or even April, gives me time to save up so I can buy a few ASP :)

What were some of the benefits of pre-ordering and signing up with the Kickstarter and IGG?

'At's the spirit! :D

@Andi
Can't speak so much for Kickstarter, but for IGG, most of the perks came with cosplay poster prints a stand and a belt clip, and then the more you pledged the more ASP parts you got. I know Kickstarter also included a belt for some of the tiers, but I'm not familiar with the other awards.

Hey borom, did you get to pick which stand you wanted? As in: the imperial one or the rebel one? I didn't see anywhere to put that in...or were we just supposed to write it in our email? Now i'm worried because I didn't do that. I forgot that there was some extra things that came with the pledge like a stand and I forget what else. Maybe a T-shirt? If so they would need my size etc.

Or is the stand we get just some new kind of stand that they send to everyone? That way they don't have to worry about people picking, its just one kind of stand for everyone.

I hope I didn't screw this up. I'd much rather have the imperial (triangular) stand if we get to choose.

Nope, no option ever appeared to choose, so I don't know if it's randomized or they'll ask us at some point.

Yep, on all this stuff, I'm equally in the dark. I prefer the Imperial stand as well.

Oh man I've been pondering about this for awhile; I pledged on IGG for $750, it says I get two belts, clips, and stands. I hope they send me at least one imperial cause I prefer it over the Phoenix stand. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Light and darkness, you cannot have one without the other. To achieve equilibriem you must be in harmony with both; the path between.

Hi everyone! So glad to see everybody is getting excited as their ASP sabers are coming very soon!

Too bad I did not come to know SF much earlier (like by a couple of months late  ), otherwise I would not have missed the opportunity to support their campaign via KS/IG...

Just a quick question, though...Is it just me or is it true that the link to ASP design page (www.saberparts.com) does not appear on SF's index homepage?

I'm really sorry, mod...Since I thought my first post did not get through, I think I just posted several posts containing the same message...I did not notice the notification "Your message has been posted successfully and will be reviewed by the moderator before being posted to the forum" until now

Please feel free to delete the previous posts that I made earlier...

Newbie mistake...Once again I'm sorry...
