I don't mind waiting for it when it is quality. And from what I hear these are awesome. This will be my first! Also they are quite reasonably priced when you start looking around at what else is out there. All of that being said I am beyond excited to actually get it in my hands!
Yes Saberforge definitely has the best priced sabers! Compared to Ultrasabers or Saberz, which are a lot uglier and more expensive

I definitely wouldn't say that saberz are ugly.

Yea some of the hilts look great, but a lot of the color schemes are ugly IMO and I hate the control panel.

Children, play nicely ;)

Someone else mentioned watching youtube videos of the sabers, that's definitely what I did while I was waiting for my sabers. I watched every video saberforge had on their channel at least three or four times each, and all the other video reviews and unboxings I could find, lol.

I also went to SF because of the product quality, the veeeeery nice designs, and their prices, but, I alsoo looked the Makoto sabers, that seem to be awesome too. Next time I'll perphaps order from Etsy, there's often good saber ready to go.

The fact they they don't have a professional website scared me away from Makoto

I agree, the main reason i chose SF over other saber makers was the quality. Not just of the sabers but the website and everyone on the forum. Inspires confidence in the product when theres so many people backing the product :)

Absolutely, it's one of the things that scares me of Makoto too, no real webpage like US or SF, very confusing, but it's a shame because they seem to be real good designs and powerful LED units.

Someone said that Ultrasabers and Saberz are ugly. I'm not familiar with Saberz, but there are a few Ultrasabers that I thought looked sweet.

Obviously we all are on this forum because we prefer SF...but I wouldn't mind getting an Omen from Ultrasabers...always loved the Thundercats. A few others look neat (their crimson and azure hilts), but never judge a book by its cover.

While some Ultra Saber designs look awesome (the Mantis) I find a lot of them to be very bland. They look like tubes with a few rings of silver around them. Saberforge sabers are all beautiful and unique.

I will agree with your statement on the ultrasabers. Some of them look interesting, but I would rather spend my money here. Besides The Count, Im starting to think about a good dueling saber though. Might have to get a Gladius....

If you want a good dueling saber, something with a leather wrap that is comfortable is the way to go IMO. Either a reliant, resiliant, gladius or wait for the Descent(looks interesting, basically a viper with leather wrap instead of grenade grip). That way it's more comfortable to grip and will probably get dropped less. And you can prevent the cold metal grip.

The descent is already here =P

The new one really does look awesome with the Reliant pommel and Viper claws, though...

Really? Oh I see it now! I guess it's only the crystal model that's available. I was thinking it would be an elite saber.

I whole heartedly agree with everything everyone says. I prefer SF too (I think I did say that) and some of their sabers at Ultrasabers look interesting. But they lack innovation, durability and quality. If I'm going to spend my money anywhere it'll be here.

Just sayin', some people might like them.

I've been waiting a little over five weeks, so not much longer, in that time though, I've worked on the first and second drafts of my star wars film, worked on the costumes, and have been getting money for more sabers, and more props. I have dreamt about it showing up even. Just gotta wait..

Also the fact that you need to pay extra for a recharge port at Ultrasabers astounds me! If you want any features at ultrasabers you need to fork over more money!

Meh. You have to fork over money to get features from SF, too. It's just different. And SF is still better when you add all the bells n whistles.
