Hey guys, I've been wondering, how do you deal with waiting for your sabers? I'm still so excited to receive mine, even though I only ordered it last weekend. Also,, how long did it take for your saber to get here? Did it take the full 8-10 weeks, or did you get it earlier/later?

I ordered my first lightsaber from Saberforge last weekend and I feel the same as you. The waiting is not easy, but one thing that has helped the wait is to watch Saberforge videos on YouTube. I like to watch both the Saberforge videos and customr unboxing/review videos. It does make me more excited for mine to arrive but it also satisfies my Saberforge craving.

I've already watched all of them! I've been watching them ever since ordering, and so far all of the good ones have been watched. Weird how there aren't many reviews/videos for the resiliant

Same here, last weekend.
Sinister Prophecy in 12w cyan and a Redeemer 12w medium blue. I messaged them a few questions, one of them being if its really going to take 10 weeks. They responded yes  . As far as I know though, they are pretty swamped.Ive actually been looking at TPLA on youtube so I dont look like a goof when i finally do get it! Oh two sabers! Lucky you! I really hope they hire some more guys and speed up the wait times! They obviously need some more!
And thanks for the channel, I haven't seen it before! I've just been going off of my own knowledge and styles when it comes to dueling atm, but that's a nice resource. Edit: Oh! I'm an ELITE member now! Sounds important! |

Since this is the year of star wars with episode 7 coming and all, I can imagine they are gonna get a ton or orders! Especially with some of those designs coming! My next is The Count for sure.
My wife is the one getting the sinister......but i think i will be using it for dueling.

My last saber took a little more than 9 weeks but that was before the holidays so I have no idea how long it will be until I get my Viper.
I would love to help with the waiting problem but I don't have much to offer... practice your swordplay? Work on a costume maybe? |

I've ordered a few sabers since last june (not all for me though), 6 to be exact! They almost all precisely took 8 weeks to get on their "next" order list! After that's it's VERY fast! The wait is not about doing the hilts, it's about doing and finishing the orders of those ahead of you! Considering this fact, an 8-10 weeks delay is quite reasonnable.
But the wait... Damn! Everytime I feel like a kid in summer waiting for christmas to get that present he's asking for since the last holidays! Now more than ever, because of my saber staff!!! |

From last spring up until now, no matter the number of orders, they've always been able to be in the delays! Their capacity to adapt is impressive. The quality of their work is the same, you just need to wait a lot longer to get an email answer haha!

Well I ordered my first saber on 11/29 when they had that nice 20% off sale over the Thanksgiving weekend and when I look it up under my orders it still says "confirmed." And I understand it will say shipped when they start working on it. So it takes awhile.

I ordered my sabers ( 2 X Venom Champion edition 12W Red with staff coupler) on mid-October, but with all the orders they have + Christmas + New Year + they got flu, it took a little more time, but now my order is delivery ! I'm just so excited to have them in my hands. For what I read, the usual time is that, about 8-10 weeks. If you are really impatient, you can look on the Etsy store, and perhaps find something you like.

I was seeing on the Etsy site (just search saberforge) that they will ship in 1-2 weeks. Granted....I think these are already made hilts and they just have to put the color in.....and not everything in their stock is listed......but if you need a saber quick, not alot of customization and they got the hilt you are looking for......1-2 weeks.

How do you want your change: Fast, Right, Cheap Pick Two. If you didn't pick two, they sent the request back. I have not received by first saber from SF (which I ordered last weekend - Sinister Prophecy, Champion, Weathered, Yellow Blade with alternate LED for Light Blue), but based on what I have seen and read I am guessing Phil and SF are not putting FAST ahead of quality (i.e. Right) and cheap (i.e. a fair price). Which is fine by me... Okay, I can hardly wait, but from what I have heard, the wait is worth it. SO SAY WE ALL! |

I don't mind waiting for it when it is quality. And from what I hear these are awesome. This will be my first! Also they are quite reasonably priced when you start looking around at what else is out there. All of that being said I am beyond excited to actually get it in my hands!
