Hi Everyone,
I really have my heart set on making a short one handed saber. I'm worried that this design my not have enough room to fit the electronics kit. Is this something I should worry about or are all possible designs ensured to work with the drop in electronics kits? Also, I plan on buying the shortest blade and then cutting it down even more. Anyone foresee issues with that idea? Thanks. |

As long as it has an ASP pommel, body, switch, and emitter I think you'll be fine. Things like the Sorceror are pretty dang short as it is. I would imagine that if you can build it in the configuration tool it'll fit, though you may need to do some cram-fu if you're planning on it having sound.
As to the blade, cutting one down with a pipe cutter is fine. I'd suggest using a little glue after you cut it down to make sure the foil stays in place, though. |
