Got an email from saberforge today saying that my saber had shipped. I was super excited until I scrolled down and read this at the bottom on the notes.
"We will be completing this order next week and shipping soon after. Thank you so much for your purchase!" Oh well. Easy come, easy go. It's only been 2 weeks anyways. Just thought I'd give an update. |

That puts it on track to arrive within the typical 4 week lead time from Etsy. Depending on elements that are impossible to measure, or affect in any way, it might get there by the three week mark if the shipping is not TOO far from Portland. The time from the point where the status changes to "Shipping" is essentially the build time for your saber, which has now come to the top of a particular saber smiths queue. Just monitor it obsessively (meaning daily/hourly if you are like the rest of us), and you will see when the USPS status goes from "Shipping Label Created", to a date and time indicating the package was picked-up, and is now in transit.
Rejoice man! Your agonizing wait will be much less than those of us who have gone through the main web site, because we just had to have something about the saber our own way. My own experience was almost 13 weeks. |

I wasn't trying to sound like I was complaining about it in any way. I just reread my post and it sounded kind bad and whiney lol. I'm super excited that it's already being assembled. I was expecting it to initally come in October before I saw the etsy wait time.
I'll be getting thumb blisters soon from checking it often. First saver from these guys and actually first I've ever owned besides a hasbro force fx Anakin.

We all kind of live vicariously through folks going through their order, their wait time, and the receipt of their saber. We empathize during the hard part, and share the joy when that Toblerone arrives and there is a new review of a fantastic saber posted here. It's all good! |
