Hey peeps,
Just out of interest can anyone tell me how many switch holes come with the initiate tier hilts for future upgrades? In particular the Bane hilt as I'm planning on getting an empty hilt (well actually I'm planning on getting two!) and then doing an electronics install when the ASP is launched.

Any info is much appreciated.

I want to say two. The AV would be a dummy and the second a dummy kill-key (if no KK, just a tabbed hole for later removal), since there's no electronics. I have read in another Post (will edit/amend if I find it) that when going this route for future installs, you'll have to note the vertical seam joint with how this hilt is produced. Doesn't help, I know.

Ah cool, thanks for that. I'm aware the construction is different on this hilt, after taking off the pommel and emitter shroud can it just be split in two? Surely that would make the installation easier as you don't have to feed wires and components through a tube.
Either way it'll be a fun project, they'll both be getting a custom paint job too but I'll reveal that when I've done them!

Being realistic of self criticism and referenced before, I am a mixed bag of nuts & kernels when it comes to intelligence, even more so when it has to do with the principles of electronics and extensions into installations ;)
To name drop by very recent recollections, Members like Kouri, Jaden Korr, jc0522, GreyJediDude, Snakeeyz99 are well versed and competent when it comes to this. I'm sure you have already, a lot of the DIY Posts are helpful too.
It was mentioned in another Post specific to a Thin Neck that threaded parts or sealed sections not intended for opening are sealed with a Lock-tight adhesive to obviously discourage curious critters playing disassembly games.
I imagine something similar would be used along the Bane seam also. I recall a comment indicating gradual waves of heat disperse from a hair-dryer can 'deactivate' the glue. Additionally, with future installs in mind and intended, I'd say requesting no glue to joins upon ordering will be accommodated. An email to Sales Customer Service will yield more accuracy.

Seeing examples of what you have Posted from ASP, concepts with Bastion and your own weblink-it's pretty exciting waiting for the finished result to see the fruits of your custom paint job application.
