So I currently have a Hero tier Sinister Prophecy that has a red/red led mix to achieve a 12w red; I am planning on purchasing a Champion tier Bane with 12w red, and have no need for two pure red sabers. I would like to reconfigure the led setup in the SP for a 12w indigo blade. What led(s) would I need to purchase and have installed to achieve this?

few royal blue dyes with red dyes

to create the indigo blade you need 3 blue dyes and 2 red dyes i think knyhtiri can explain this better than me
sabers own: prodigal son, classic epouch vers 2

sabers i want ? Guardian,Count,exalted, legacy 1 and protector,archon and fallen

Indigo as SF uses it is 3 deep blue (or royal blue, if you prefer) and 1 red die.

For a hero tier setup, basically what you would want is a 6W deep blue, 6W purple, 12W indigo. :)

I think their 12w indigo is a bit more complicated than just 3 deep blue, 1 red, as they're still figuring out how to properly resistor the new 12w+ to achieve the same shade of indigo they achieved with resistors on the 12w.

I think there's some science into which die are resistored to which strength, but I know that's the very, very basic rule. lol.

Quick Question on Indigo. I'm about to get my first SF through the KS and I'm torn on color choice. Can anyone here compare Indigo to the US equivalent? Why?

I currently have a "Deep Purple" LED from US that I am not real pleased with. Actually I've had 2. The first one was a mess - tip to middle was blue, middle to emitter was red. After having to pay shipping both ways to get it "fixed" I ended up with an LED that looks more fuschia/pink than it does deep purple.

To get a purple color I ended up with an Emerald board with a RBGW LED to mix an ok purple, but it still doesn't seem as purple as the pictures I've seen of the SF Indigo. However, I know photos are notoriously misleading depending on lighting, camera lens, etc.

Thus I was wondering if anyone had actual experience seeing the two side by side.

Khaalis, check out tech_droid's Phoenix review here. He has some excellent pictures of what indigo looks like in real life. Hope that helps a little!
