Hi mate!

For starters, welcome among us :)

Secondly, I (and the other members of this tremendous community) highly recommend that you go and read the FAQ. It's got plenty of answers to questions you have, questions you think you have and questions you don't even know you have ;)

Finally, come on and join the fun by introducing yourself in this dedicated forum thread!

As to give you a bit of an answer still, buying a saber is a very personnal thing. We might tell you what sabers we want and how we want them, but at the end of the day, it's a very personnal matter.

For example, I plan on buying an Acolyte, Champion or Hero tier, with the standard finish, green 32" blade and brown leather.

As for other buying advices, I have yet to hear a member of this community receiving a bad feedback about selling a saber to another member or being unsatisfied with the quality of the saber bought from SaberForge, they're pretty great at pretty much every step of the way :)

If you are looking for a quick opinion on your choice, I love the Consular! I think it screams elegant simplicity, and its compact size makes it a great choice for someone of large stature (for one-handed combat styles), as well as those of smaller stature. Depending on the length of blade (26", 32", or 37"), it can serve in a variety of roles from main hand weapon, to Shoto.

If there were not so many other models on my list ahead of it, I would already own one. I can't think of a more honest praise for any saber. If after going through the FAQ, you have additional questions, or concerns, just ask. We love helping folks make an educated purchase, nurse them through the lead time, and share the joy when that Toblerone of joy arrives at the door packed with the coolest thing on the planet. Your light saber!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....
