Video from all around good guy Jordan Moll:
Quick Connet Review

Quick Tutorial:

You will need your allen wrench and some delicate fingers.

1.First you need to loosen both the blade plug retention screw (top) and the LED retention screw (bottom). I would suggest not removing them completely because they are easy to lose.

2. Pull out the blade plug.

3. Once the blade plug has been removed you will see the LED resting in the body of the saber. Now that it is loose from adjusting the LED retention screw is will either slide out or you will need to gently tap on the pommel to convince it to slide out.

4. This next part can be tricky depending on your model. Gently guide the LED out of the body; this may be difficult if it is folded up within the body of the hilt.
5. Once the LED is out you will see the QC about 3 inches down the length of wire. Grasp both sides of the red boxes and gently pull them apart.

To reattach reverse the steps. Sometimes the wires won't guide back into the body of the hilt easily. Don't try to jam the LED unit in. Sometimes pulling the battery out makes more space for the wires. Also remember to tighten the LED retention screw so it isn't jiggling about.

I would suggest not switching out a LED unless you're absolutely tired of the color. Over time multiple LED swaps will weaken the solder points and you risk breaking the QC pins. Hope this is helpful!
