Hi saberforge

Quick question. could someone explain the similarities and differences of In-hilt recharge and Nightlite?
I ordered my saber back in september and I was told the nightlite option would charge the battery. however, now im almost convinced that nightlite doesn't function the same as in-hilt recharge. My overall question is will my saber recharge with the nightlite adjustment or did I accidentally purchases a wall display saber?

Both use the same term so it is a bit confusing. One of them (in hilt recharge) is for recharging the saber and the other one (Nightlite) turns off when disconnected from the port and turns on when connected -so it's essentially a Nightlite things you plug into an outlet.

Chances are, they'll default to giving you the standard in hilt recharge. They know there's some confusion between the 2, so they are only doing this (the wall saber option) for orders that specifically ask for that set up.

It just recharges by being plugged into the wall as opposed to pulling the battery out. I've had a few and have one saber with the night-light upgrade so don't worry about it! :D

ok first of all...

1. i first heard about the in hilt recharge here of the forum, then before i ordered it, someone said it's called the nightlite function. so that's what i called it in the comments of my order, not in hilt recharge.

2. it wasn't until my order became labled "shipped" that i found out someone else on the forum explained the confusion between calling it nightlite instead of in hilt recharge. at that moment i sent a message to saberforge asking if they could please revise my saber setup. as of now i haven't heard back from them and im worried my saber won't function correctly.

sorry for the panic, after all, this is my first purchase.

It's completely fine bro

I had the same worry as you did but Saberforge sent a message on Etsy saying they will make sure the in-hilt recharge will get installed. Like I said earlier, it's very confusing so the default action will be that they'll install the in-hilt recharge.

If I remember right they work Monday-Thursday. It was mentioned in another thread somewhere, can't remember which one.

If you sent the email Friday with the request they will not see that email until Monday. Then it might take them a few more hours since odds are they get a crazy backlog from people over the weekend so give them until late afternoon Monday before you send off another email.

From my experience they are pretty fast to respond, but they'll need time to catch up the weekend flood.

Ok new question.

Is the kill key suppose to kill power to the saber? for some reason when i have the kill key inserted, it turns on when i press the switch. same thing happens with plugging it into the charger. is this normal?

If it's night light/in-hilt warrior tier, the kill key is just there and no it won't do anything special.
