Oh. That makes sense. Genius way to get product into the hands of new people quickly, too. Damn. If I had known this before I ordered I might have done things differently. But I think I'll be better off with my custom piece than with a standard unit. And who knows? I might even win the Crystal Katana. |

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have the cash to order a saber in hopes of winning the katana. Probably not going to order anything until the Bane, Disciple or the new Epoch come out.
Good luck on the katana though. That'd be pretty sweet. |

I also made her one of these. Well, sorta. I used Rustoleum spray paint (Home Depot doesn't carry Krylon, which is apparently better for this sort of thing), left all the Nerf internals intact and didn't add any electronics. So mine's a little blacker on the black parts (I did do a silver "drybrush" over the whole thing) and you probably won't be able to pull the trigger (too much paint) or rack the slide (too much paint). I'm super happy with the way it turned out and when it's safe to remove it from its hiding place, I'll post photos for great bragging.

I started a new thread with this question but haven't had any response. Can anyone tell me how long they Jade Fire is? I'm making a box for it but I don't have the hilt yet.
