Though my sabers are not on their way yet I feel your pain.
The shipping USPS issues are not limited to sabers. I currently have 4 Christmas presents from 4 different vendors that had "guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery" that should have been here last Thursday but are still delayed without update. I really hope they get here in time otherwise I'll have to mail them out again as soon as I get them to the family members that are driving in from far away. I hope that USPS delivers everyone what they are waiting on in time for the holidays. |

So Kyntiri, are other shipping options or insurance possibilities for the future or are we barking up the wrong tree? I for one would shell out the money for other options, heck I bet some Crack fiends here would shell out for overnight shipping. I know all the carriers get busy this time of year but the USPS couldn't hit the Earth if they fell out of a plane. In the 15 years I have been at this house I have had one or two issues with UPS and Fed Ex each, I am up to about 20 with the USPS (that is just packages, not letters).

The last email I received from Kevin G @ Saberforge via Etsy for my Hero Tier Vengeance that went into Shipped status on November 20th is that build times were currently averaging 15-25 working days (Mon-Thurs).
Unfortunately I do not have an exact ship date for you at this time. There is currently a 10-12 week lead time from the date of your order, until it arrives to you. Once your item is in “shipped status”(current state), we generate the shipping label and tracking number, and the saber moves into the build que. Normally, from this point it generally takes 5-10 business days (Mon-Thurs) for the saber to be completed and physically shipped out, but due to an extremely high volume of orders, the ship time is currently between 15-25 days. We hope to have this down again soon, but thank you for your continued patience in the meantime. It is greatly appreciated.

This is verbatim what he wrote to me, plus he didn't even answer some of my other questions. It could lead one to believe he's not even reading messages and just auto responding. Mine have been in build status since November 12th, best thing seems to try very hard and forget about your Saber or set a long projected date with a reminder to email them about your order it seems. I've been trying hard myself to stay off these boards. While I'm happy people are getting their Sabers that ordered after me it does bum me out a little. |

Honestly, this is how I did it. I ordered it and then forgot about it. I didn't think about it at all. I never emailed Saberforge or communicated with them at all after placing the order. I just let them do their thing and I went on doing my thing. I imagine I would have driven myself insane if I sat there thinking about it constantly for weeks on end during the wait lol. I hope you get your saber soon.
