Does any know/remember some of the older SF saber models? Did SF ever release sabers resembling Obi's EP IV weathered or a Luke V2 from EP VI? The current redeemer's activation box obviously is reminiscent more of Ep III than IV. I've seen pictures online that say they were SF but wasn't sure if some custom work was done to them to resemble more of the feature film versions. Because I'm new, I'm still learning some of SF's history.

And if anyone has any pics of the older models, please post. Thanks.

I think you might be referring to the weathered version of the Redeemer. Both the weathered version of the Redeemer and the Prodical Son come with different designs of the control box. Weathered Redeemer has a bubble strip design and Weathered Prodical son has a design similar to the Luke V2 you refer to.

That's one of the things I really like about the ASP system. Swap a Graflex switch section into a Redeemer and you have an Ep4 Obi-Wan Hero prop.

Once the ESB Graflex bits are added, you could use a full-ring Redeemer emitter, blade plug for that extended emitter nub, ESB Graflex Switch, and Prodigal Son Body/Pommel for a Luke V2.

Thanks Kouri and Dr. Anthropologist,

I was able to make a close as possible saber to those versions with the ASP site which is fantastic, pretty much what Kouri did. I'm sure a lot of people had the same idea.

Also, it's good to know that the weathered versions of the Redeemer and PS come a little different. I didn't realize that. There is a review of each weathered version under there respective sections but both designs are a little different from the film version. I love the weathered look which looks pretty accurate from those pics but the control boxes are slightly off. I'm sure with the ASP site coming up and added parts down the line, making these a reality is a question of "when" not "if."

You know the only thing that has confused me, and its evident in your picture above, is that there doesn't seem to be a way to select "black" for just the grenade section and NOT the emitter itself. You either get both black or both standard. The same thing applies on the body itself. There doesn't seem to be a way to actually recreate the redeemer in the same color scheme that it appears on the main site (and in the movies themselves obviously). This really bothers me because i planned on making the redeemer out of the ASP parts. I also wanted to get the graflex parts and do like you said above with mixing and matching the pieces around to get different versions of the sabers.

Does anyone know if theres going to be a possible option of only getting certain parts black colored? This seems like a pretty big oversight if not!
