I've seen in hilt recharge done both ways. Is there any cons to wiring a recharge port with a removable battery and holder vs Li-Ion battery pack? I know a battery and holder will take up more space, but if there's room, it be nice to mount the soundboard on the back of the battery holder. I'm having difficulties finding a 18650 3400mah pack, everywhere seems to be out of stock at the moment.

That battery is available on SaberForges ETSY site.$12.99 US. Personally I wouldn't hardwire a removable battery holder to a recharge port. If you have plenty of extra room in your hilt then go for it. If you are at an event and replacing, over recharging batteries is the only logical reason for such a wiring configuration IMO. Good luck and MTFBWY

Thanks for the reply. I was actually referring to the 18650 packs with the wired leads. I know TCSS is currently sold out and I cannot find them anywhere.

I did come across those in my searches, thanks. I noticed that they were 3200mah. I was hoping to find a 3400mah, not that I'm going to notice a difference between the two. Having to buy from several different shops is getting expensive. I'm looking at about $40 just in shipping fees. I think I'll hold out a bit longer for TCSS to restock.
