I like the modernized look and am pleased that the basic design is the same. Would like to see this in the weathered version but not sure how that would look with the new stripes detailing. The new recessed area for the switch should greatly help with not unwillingly turning the saber on and off. Would be nice if they could offer both the old and new versions since this is such a popular saber. Glad that I already have an arena weathered one with stingray wrap.

Having received my Gladius in the mail the DAY before the new version was announced, it was kinda like "Aw, man."

I want to pick up a Reborn and possibly an Arbiter next, but maybe by fall my poor wallet will have recovered enough to pick up a Gladius 2.0
