TOPIC: Blade clicking

So I recently received my first Saberforge saber, a Venemous Fury. The hilt is amazing. I got a 37" blade, and I am having some problems. When I screw it in and swing it around, I hear a clicking sound. I assumed that it was some issue with the screw, so I searched to see if anyone else had a similar problem. Some others did, and recommended that I wrap some scotch tape around the base of the blade so that it would have a more snug fit. Tried it. It did seem to provide a much better fit, but the clicking remained.
Just for an experiment, I pulled the blade out and swung it around, separate from the hilt. The clicking remained. So it is something actually in the blade. Is there anything that I can do to prevent this? Thanks for any advice! |

Mine does the same thing. I believe it's the film inside crinkling. If you remove the blade from the hilt and flex it toward you, you can see the film crinkle a bit inside, hence the sound. As for a fix, that I'm not sure if there is one. Perhaps one of the more experienced guys on here will know.
