Hi there,
Another Brit who is over the moon at having found this site. I've watched quite a few reviews and have settled on ordering from Saberforge. I'm still trying to decide on a hilt, however, in the meantime, I'd be really keen to hear some opinions/reviews on the yellow 12W blade. It's the colour I've always wanted but have seen mixed reviews; from it being too amber near the blade time, to it being washed-out doors, to problems with the blending of green and amber LEDs. That said, there were also some really positive reviews, I guess I'm just trying to find a balanced argument as to whether to order a yellow or play is safe with something like green or blue. Any and all opinions hugely welcome. Great to me a part of this crowd. |

Welcome! Glad to have you aboard! As for the yellow. The 12w+ upgrade might solve the problem for the base flair.

Hello iylankano!
If you like the yellow then go for it, it'll be bright as heck no matter what. Like Dr. Anthropologist said, go with the 12+ upgrade, it's worth it. Although I've not been on the forum for a week or two and seem to remember Knytiri ( our moderator) saying that no requests for add-ons or the 12+ are currently being processed via paypal. So if you're paying that way through etsy say, then wait a while till the 12+ is officially released as an option. As for other colours, if you're truly undecided after weeks of pondering, go for quick connects and another LED. It'll be like a second saber for essentially a few quid more. mtfbwy |

Hello, ladies, gentlemen, and sith lords,
I'm SithLordLim, and I'm a high school student in Southern California. I'm awaiting my Champion tier 12W Green Prodigal Son. At my high school, I currently serve as the senior president, but my love for Star Wars has popularized the substitute titles of "Senior Sith Lord" and "Supreme Chancellor" from plenty of the students and faculty. I'm also involved as a co-captain on the varsity wrestling team, officer of the astronomy, rotary interact, and black student union clubs, and member of 10 other clubs. I enjoy debating politics and Star Wars, playing the trumpet & piano, taking aggressive naps, cheating on my diets, collecting cool socks, procrastinating homework, watching YouTube videos, and procrastinating homework while watching YouTube videos. I hope to study to become a lawyer or doctor, but I wouldn't mind settling to play a jedi in the new SW trilogy. Big astronomy geek myself, as much as I can be here in central London. At the moment, I'd settle for bringing order to my list of sabers I'm still waiting for, let alone the galaxy. btw, would a 12W in Red not suit your Sith Tendencies better? |

I prefer not to explicitly display my allegiance to the dark side of the force on the battlefield! It makes it much easier to disguise my intentions until I'm up-close & personal...plus I plan to bring it to Disneyland, and I don't wanna be attacked and booed by every kid there lol. And you gotta love the ROTJ Luke saber; it's a classic! |
