Epic. Can't speak for the next 2 but I feel like this Episode is in good hands. I love how Star Wars brings us all together! My wife and my son sat in my office with me as eager as I was, while my mom and brothers were all on speaker phone in their respective houses. Can't wait!

I loved how it showed a lot, but gave away practically nothing! No spoilers...no seemingly laying the best parts on the floor before we set foot in the theater. Quite the contrary! I feel like the best is definitely yet to come!

What was Rey crying about in the snowy forest? She was behind something big and furry! Or Capt Phasma on the bridge of the star destroyer starring @ a red beam in space? The forest being blown down by a red wall of destruction? are more planets being razed?

I just realized that my daughter will be the same age when TFA is released that I was when ROTJ was released (under a year old) 32 years ago. My parents went to see ANH three times in theaters when they were in college. I saw the prequels in high school. Lots has changed for all of us but Star Wars really hasn't.

So... When Han explains to Finn and Rey that "It's true.. all of it... the darkside... a Jedi... they're real" I damn near bawled like a baby.

Everyone i know, including me, calls it Episode IV: A New Hope.

That aside, I got shivers and an overwhelming amount of joy from the trailer. The minute "Han Solo and the Princess" played, it knocked it out of the park. The music, the scenes, and Han Solo talking about the stories was absolutely amazing. Everything feels different and yet it all feels the same. I can't stop rewatching it and wishing December came quickly. :woohoo:

I wondered this too. I paused it on the scene and, I'm just speculating, but it looks like Leia... could be wrong though.

Yes, loads of tension. Have only seen two lightsabers and lots of blasters, etc. Can't imagine a SW movie without a lot more sabers. So many questions including how many times I'm going to see the movie and what saber to take along. :woohoo:

Will we be banned for giving spoilers? Lol, I know too much of the film, I actually know of the story and the plotholes. Aside from that: HOLY MOTHER TERESSA ON THE HOOD OF A MERCEDES BENZ! The trailer might break the internet. It was perfect, JJ Abrams sure knows how to properly make trailers, god I hate when they put EVERYTHING in the trailers. But this gave just enough of what we need to know. People, we might be looking at some movie history here, like Most grossing film in the decade history. There is no way any marvel film is gonna make more money than Star Wars on premiere day. This is going to define a new generation and it is going to set some higher expectations from films that want to compete.
Light and darkness, you cannot have one without the other. To achieve equilibriem you must be in harmony with both; the path between.

My fellow fan I was there 5/4/77 to my generation there was only STAR WARS! I do understand where you're coming from. However , what is "ROTF" I'm confused. Aside from me being alittle nitt picky, I totally feel it man " The Force, It,s calling to You. Just let it in!"

greyjediDude I suspect you were there as well 5/4/77 and I must say from what I've seen that this will be HISTORIC! Nothing will come close to what STAR WARS was for the movie industry or as an Epic for our generation. Like the Iliad or the Odyssey this will be remembered for all time. I think JJ and his team are going to give us the goods!

As someone who grew up with the prequels, and not the OT i can get a glimpse of how you guys who saw the OT first felt.
