If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the one sold by etsy seller WoodenPretties:

You are correct Jaden Korr. WoodenPretties. Jedi and Sith versions with a ton of customization options. Can't see it in the pic, but there's a black velvet pad inside the box also.

Here is my current set-up... I'm still brainstorming on what I really want though.

Currently I just have it sitting on top of a cabinet in my office (no blade installed) where it's easily visible. Blade is nearby in case I feel like messing around with it.

I plan to order one for my wife later and, when I build a bookshelf that covers an entire wall, leave a spot for them to be displayed prominently (with blades installed)there in the living room.

It will have to change a bit once they arive to accommodate them but its a good start.

That's...impressive. What's the plan, strategically placed or random over the surface area of that working piece of art?

It's more of a living display as I tend to move stuff around on it frequently (and occasionally add to it.) As for the display of the sabers I'll have to see when I get them. I'll have 3 sabers on the way (2 ASP champs and a bane) when the Kickstarter ships and however many stands it came with so its really up in the air at this point. The shelf below the glass that is empty in the picture is about 4 inches tall and 3 feet 10 inches wide so I'm not sure if the sabers will fit blade in under it or if I would even want to do that.

So far I have been very good about not buying more things to display/play with until they arrive as they will be my first sabers. I'm actually a bit scared of all the awesome things I've seen to help enhance the display of your sabers. Like fancy blade plugs, day blades and acrylic a stands with LED lighting and etching...

I ponder this purely from a housekeeping point-of-view. With the intricacy of all the pieces and detail, how do you prevent dust build-up from becoming permanent residents within that collection?

Ok, I love SF's designs for stands, but....I need this in my life, too:

Guess that means I'm gonna need at least four sabers to display :woohoo:

Canned air is a good friend of mine. I also do airbrushing on minis for other games I play and I have occasionally taken my airbrush with a bit of clean water to some of the more grimy pieces then blast them dry. With the move my airbrush station is only a few feet away so that will likely become the primary cleaning tool for those figures. The bigger problem is actually the glass surface since the wood its on is dark it quickly becomes easy to see the dust buildup on it which is one of the reasons I like keeping this a living display so I don't have to worry about putting them back exactly as they were after a good wipe down of the glass.

Before anyone asks so far I have been to chicken to reprint any of those x-wing figures as their paint jobs are decently detailed and I have more pressing blank models to paint.

This is how I display my two hilts right now. I'm not crazy about either of the stands currently offered by SF and don't have the money right now to get any of the nicer, more expensive stands from other places so I decided to make my own little stand.
I made it out of black foam board which cost me about €1 and even though it's nothing fancy, it holds my Guardian and Reborn proudly and I think it's awesome :)

I like the broom handle wall mount idea. Maybe I'll have a stand as well for just a hilt/no blade.

I like it! Simple yet elegant.

I love how we are more invested and thoughtful about how we display and store our sabers than actual Star Wars characters are. There's an episode of the Clone Wars where it shows that Dooku unceremoniously has his tossed on his nightstand.

Hi Ouin,

You'll be fine as long as you don't brush your teeth with your Lightsaber!

Like this, I think you're a bit late.

I work in a wood shop so after I get my first saber I think I will build a cherry box for it to sit in and do a custom one for every one I buy after I'll also have some hooks to put them on Display on the living room wall I plan to buy lots of sabers but I'll post some picks of both after my disciple arrives in the next few weeks
The force is strong in this one.but the dark side is always there

Just finished my saber box, complete with my chicken-scratch Aurebesh:

I'll be putting my ASP saber in this when it arrives. Not the nicest box out there, but I like it. Now I want to make one for my Sirius Black wand.

On the front of the box is the saber's name (Interceptor), the left side of the lid is my Jedi name (which is just my real name rearranged), and the right side of the lid is my class (Sentinel). On the underside of the lid says my home world (Corellia), my lightsaber form (Niman), and the force powers I specialized in. I put healing, tutaminis (which according to Wookiepedia is the official name for force absorb--like when Yoda catches Sith lighting or Vader stops Han's blaster bolts with his hands), and emerald lightning (the alternate name for Electric Judgement, which I thought sounded a bit pretentious).

Hopefully no one notices how off center the Jedi Order symbol is on the lid...

Hi all,

To Jaden Korr, that is a nice case you have there and I imagine it will age and mature nicely as it gets older (unlike me!).
I think it looks as good as the other wooden cases I've seen.

To Kered, I don't know if you have heard of them but fellow member Brax has some nice rubber kayak paddle clips to wall mount his sabers. I will post a link to his post and pics here in case:

https://saberforgeforum.com/forum/open-topics/4833-how-do-you-display-your-sabers-or-plan-to#31760

They fit paddles up to 1.25 inches in diameter and shouldn't scratch the Saber's finishes. If you Google search "Shoreline Kayak Paddle Clips" you should be able to find a retailer to buy some from.

Again keep up the good work guys and gals,

For Tyeth
