Stares at Analytics I estimate that the release of the Bane "cost" the Kickstarter round 5k. So not too bad but really ugly if you were keeping tabs yesterday. It looks like the stretch update and the release of the legacy pics perked things up a bit.

If only I had the money to afford one of those. Do you honestly think that SF will be able to make the $400,000 mark? From what I've seen, things have unfortunately been slowing down a bit. And as much as I'd love to make a larger contribution to help this awesome cause, I'm rather tight on money at the moment (which really sucks )

From what I've seen, things have unfortunately been slowing down a bit.

Slowing down is relative. If you dive into the analytics ( https://www.kicktraq.com/projects/1621134222/adaptive-saber-parts-make-your-dream-lightsaber-a/ or https://kicklytics.com/Report.asp?ProjectID=248077 ) you'll see that these past few days (launch of the Kickstarter, release of the Bane, etc.) have been highly irregular and weekday contributions (when contributions are typically slowest for Kickstarters) are fairly steady. The question is if this'll have legs. If the Kickstarter hits 3200k going into the last week there's a pretty good chance it'll hit 400k as the biggest pop typically occurs in the last few day/hours.

The name of the game now is attracting people outside of the typical custom saber community.

Looks like things are steadily chugging allong. Hopefully there will be a big push from fence sitters at the end to reach the stretch goal. I am seriously debating upping my pledge to the $700 level.
My only question is about the light up activation switches. I love that look, and wish the initial sabers had those. Does anyone have any experience installing the plug and play switches? Is it difficult for an electronics noob? I wonder how much they will cost as an add on?

Posts: 1553 Thank you received: 464	I don't know if they plan on keeping the sabercore 2.0 soundboards in the champion level electronics kits or going to the 3.0, but the 3.0 is supposed to have a customizable sound font. You could put any font you wanted on it. That being said, the hero level kits will still have the spark boards like the current hero sabers, which have 6 customizable soundfonts.

Sometimes up to 30% of a Kickstarter's funding happens the last two to three days. This could go as high as 500k-600k. It should hit 400k by/during this weekend. Edited to rein in hyperbole.
