Loving some of the designs in here so I thought I may as well share mine! This is the ASP I'm currently waiting on! When it arrives I'm going to add some small touches too!

I see you have found one of my favourite threads and posted a design, outstanding! A lot of folks like emitter 10 it seems. And if this is your first ASP you have done well. I just get to design them, you are going to be fortunate enough to get yours, so I hope you enjoy it and maybe we'll get to see pics of the real thing in future.

Hello there, I'm new here and thought I would share some of my designs:)

Yeah it's my first design, i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! I was after something sleek and easy to use considering it will be used for the fan film im working on. I want to add a little battle damage and a bit of fabric near the switch section too, sort of like the General Kota saber if that makes sense. Just to add that last touch of personality! Glad you like it! I'll definitely post some pictures once it arrives.

Here's another design that I'm really liking! It pays homage to The Reliant, but with a few minor changes. One of the things I'm not very keen on is control boxes, so I knew I wanted to get that out of the way. I also really like the look of knobs and buttons, so I was able to throw those in there. The only thing I wish was available was electrical pins, but that's not a big issue. This hilt comes in at a whopping 1' 2.5". I will definitely be using a 32" blade as I'm a bit on the shorter side, but I love the idea of a long hilt.

I know I've already used this name for my first saber design, but I know that saber won't get made and I don't want the name to go to waste, so here is the new and improved Apex!

-Reliant Emitter
-Mauler Switch
-Dissident Body
-Reliant Pommel
-Grey Weathering (not shown)



With this saber I plan on changing the red buttons on the emitter and switch sections to black and reducing the amount of weathering that will be added to it by sanding some of it off. I want the saber to have a good "used" look, but not overly used. I'm really excited about this one, and I hope you all like it as well!

EDIT: Rotated the switch section 180 degrees. I like it much better that way.

Very nice tight design. It almost looks architectural how you have got things lined up. I like the idea of a Green blade too!

Adan, I love that design! I'm not a fan of control boxes either since I see them getting in the way (even with a small-handed person such as myself)! With the little bit of weathering as you suggested, it would look amazing! I do apologize for not sharing much lately since health issues have taken my time and will probably continue to do so for a while. I still managed to come up with some designs in inspiration of For Tyeth's Double Onslaught! Also, I had another design I had made a while back but was unsure about.

I had to make up for not really doing anything yesterday!

I may or may not post more designs tomorrow as I have a doctor visit and at the worst another hospital trip, but I do promise I'll make up for it with more designs! I hope to share an emitter-as-pommel design soon before I return to class next week!

I can see the design cues from Double Onslaught in the offset emitters, much appreciated. Three very nice variations you have there. And I can see the line of development in "Resolute" from "Resistance", why you were unsure about it I don't know, you are good at designing.

And no need to apologise for not posting much, your health (or whomever is affected) is more important. I have to be reminded to take a break now and then.

I just wasn't 100% on the Resolute's emitter (which I like in general) combined with the switch and the rest of the hilt in general, but the more I look at it the more I feel like I'm just exaggerating lol

I will be back soon with the full strength of the Force! (but really just with some more designs)

I hope that once my first saber comes in I'll be able to provide more help in more threads, but as of now I'll stick with my "domain" of hilt design.

I should be okay, thanks for all the support! It may be a while but I should be back to normal soon enough! In fact, I think I'll have a design ready tomorrow as long as I get a few minutes at my laptop!

That is absolutely awesome! I couldn't see what you had done at first and thought it was random but I leaned back from my screen and then "BAM!" I could see the Irish flag! That is "Irish Inspiration"!
