I will take this opportunity to post the second version of INCOMMING and as I said this version is for a special character in the new film so it shouldn't be difficult to guess who the inspiration was. I think the colour scheme matches as well...

Okay, I have a new set for all of you. Another inspiration out of my childhood, though Lord knows why it suddenly showed up in lightsaber form. I guess it's just par for the course for my idiosyncratic brain.

Much like the Jedi, magic and mystery are part of their history. They also fight for what's right in whatever they do. Six warriors strong, and fierce like beasts.

Nice additions you have there raphos. Vibrant use of colour and parts, very well done. I am gravitating towards Hunger and like the placement of the control box higher up and immediately after the emitter. Speaking of which, my stomach is now signalling me with a hankering for some feed. Coincidence?

Hey 40th, the Incomming series was great. I especially liked the Dameron.

Apologies 40th, my own careless oversight completely missed your Dameron. It took reading Otto's Post to remind me to revisit. Your designs never disappoint. I dare say with your recent marathon of Episodes 1-7, a new batch may be 'incoming' riding the inspirational wave.

This represents a Hilt I am trying to see realised. Represented as best and as close as I can with the available ASP Parts. The finish includes a mix of polished Chamber shroud, weathered and matte black powder-coating with a distinctive brass powder-coat on the emitter. A Tri Cree Photo Red LED (Pr/Pr/A) with an opposing Blood Orange illuminated Crystal Chamber.
As it's none-the-closer, Think-Tank Custom.

Thank you =Ottomatix= and OvrcAHst, I may not post as many designs recently but I drop one in now and then! I have been struggling to come up with designs that I feel work and am trying to avoid doing the same things over. I have also been considering the situation around whether the designs I produce should be workable or not. I have seen some inspired creations from OvrcAHst and Jaden Korr for example, but they acknowledge the designs aren't viable with the parts currently available. I like the point that my designs can be built with very little tweaking.

However, OvrcAHst is correct I have completed a 7 Episode Marathon (and read a novel!) during May The Fourth Be With You Day and I hope it will trigger some new works. In the meantime thanks to all the members who have posted theirs!

Thanks Borommakot, really liking Kraken though I hate to point it out but I think the builder may have flipped the orientation of the body section on the right hand side as we look at it. The Lime Green and Brown match up perfectly!

Now, for May The Fourth Be With You Day I watched all seven episodes and it has fired my imagination again! I now have a few designs inspired by TFA. This is the first of those and is for an Amazonian-like Stormtrooper(ess). I remembered Ralph Macquarrie's concept art of Stormtroopers with Sabers, and I even made one I called StormForce but it just hit me to adapt that Saber for Captain Phasma!
So here is ...

PHASMA:















I felt that Captain Phasma wasn't as fearsome as she was made out in the film, but with this weapon nobody is gonna argue with her (and she'll know how to use it!).

So did anyone guess the theme of my last set of sabers? No one directly said it and I was being a bit coy, I know. But sometimes it's hard to tell which side of the fine line between "too obvious" and "too obscure" one is on. I'll need to work on that.

I couldn't guess them, myself, though to be fair I don't go in for guessing much. If I can't figure 'em out I just enjoy the design.

raphos, All I know is that I am still experiencing the cries of Hunger. I fashioned a guess with Beast Quest, but dismissed it as it seemed too recent of a publication and the 'Beasts' were more than six. Too cryptic for my comprehension. Will you reveal the answer to your Theme or shall it continue on like other exciting news coming recently announced?

it seems so obvious now that you have revealed the reference Theme. Nicely played. I happily admit the Fool with inability to recognise such a classic. Clever riddle. It makes sense now why I gravitated towards Hunger, representative to (at least I hope so) Tummy. He was actually my favourite of the G-Berry Juiced-Up Bears, characteristic similarities to the modern day Po, which leads onto (being playful), Skadoosh.
