You could do it if your second hilt is a warrior, you just need to set your blade flicker on the champion to "1" setting. That way you won't have one blade flickering and one solid.

The only advantages of having both of them be champions would be if you really wanted the blade flicker and the extra hum and swings. It actually will sound more like Maul's saber if you have two, if you listen carefully, there is a double swing sound, one overlapping the other a fraction of a second behind.

If you are tight for cash, go warrior. You can always upgrade it later.

I have a champion Disciple and Consular. Staff Coupler used. Each Saber a different color and sound font. Gives unique sounds, but swing sounds act weird in staff config. Something with the swing sensors location? I also had this dilemma. Money was no object so I got 2 champion hilts. One warrior and one champion as a dedicated staff I think would be satisfactory.

Hi Gojira 101, it seems staffs, spears and naginata are popular!

OK I was using the ASP sabers builder earlier and from what I could see the parts don't fit the way I expected.
Do you know about the male and female thread system? (please don't take offence in my asking) as it is important to how the sections connect. Please let me know then I can try and help you out a bit better.

There are Female\Female couplers on the builder to bridge the gap between the last extension and your pommel in your description, Female1 ff, Female2 ff and Female3 ff. But I will say:

1) I'm not sure where you want the sound to come out.
2) I don't know which couplers you have at the moment regarding the threads for alternate arrangements.

The builder has a tendency to make it seem like I have to use a coupler between the body and extension piece because you can't flip it but as far as I know the extension should fit without.

Sorry this reply took so long I was trying to work through it on a tablet and laptop at the same time.

I will just ask if the moderators see this topic could you please move it to the correct section if needed as I'm new here and am not sure how to do that. Many thanks.

You're welcome, I just hope it helped and the parts are available to you.The process of lining up male to female etc can get tricky when you consider you can flip the parts like the extensions (male one end to female the other)
Another option you could try is to have the coupler between the extensions (one extension screwed into hilt) but it depends on what look you want and parts you have.

I'm sure there will be other members who could add to this but don't hesitate to ask me if you feel I could help in the future.Good luck!
