TOPIC: Saber Forge is having a giveaway!

So... I just read this email, and it kinda pisses me off.
I order a saber on March 19th, and then a few weeks later i come to check out the forums to find out there's like a 3-4 month lead time, with the reason being "we have so many orders coming in we can't even touch yours for months at a time."

Now I get an email about them trying to drum up even more business when they're nowhere near fulfilling the orders they already have?

In the meantime I ordered a saber from another site on the 29th, it shipped on the 31st and was in my hands on the 5th of April.

This makes me exclaim, "wtf." And i'm sure i'm not gonna be the only one who's waiting for a saber for an incredibly long time.

I seriously have to consider cancelling my order because no progress has been made, and it seems like no progress will be made on it for a long time, and again, I bet i'm not gonna be the only one if I do.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, SaberForge reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. 9.Limitation of liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless SaberForge and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

The reason for including the alternative method of entering is because in most places (at least in the U.S.), having a buy-in entry for a prize giveaway is considered gambling, making the event an illegal lottery. By including a "no purchase necessary" option, it becomes an actual giveaway.
