I have not read any cases. And I honestly think you might be over concerned unnecessarily. All of my sabers I received from SF were as per my orders, weathered or not. Stay cool.

Thanks bro, i removed the post. There is feedback regarding this issue in the Etsy feedback page though. But you are right, just gotta chill it out and wait and see.

Lol it seems like SF is indeed sending me the wrong color combination as they did not have the black on black weathered on stock.. As i just got this information confirmed from SF via Etsy :( :( :(

Have to admit i am currently most displeased with this sudden change in my order of a 300 USD stunt saber product.

The lack of communication regarding this deviation in what was the requested order had definitely hit my small toe this is not a 5 dollar purchase...

Would this analogy be fair in this case?: When i order a car in blue and the car dealer just decided to send me a pink one because they are out of stock of the blue ones, is to me a unacceptable business decision.

I could nowhere on SF Etsy find that they send you whatever is in stock despite what you request in the order notes disclaimed, given this is not a Etsy exclusive anymore and the product is readily available on the main site, there should be no excuse for this.

And if it is indeed the case that Etsy is the saberforge clearance stock channel, than that would mean they lose me as a client on etsy, i think that would be a fair assessment, i am not into paying the same as the main site but getting what ever is random available, i do not want to be threatened as a secondary customer whilst paying the same full price, it`s not a US Grabbag we are talking here :P *no pun intended about other brands.

Did anyone experience the same? i could find 2 more cases of the same on etsy regarding the color scheme order and what was delivered on Etsy within less then a month. My main reason on this tread is to find out, if this is something recently start to happen on orders via Etsy? as my Arbiter also came in a totally different color scheme then ordered (that one actually looks nice, so i did not complain too much about it)

Examples for the past 1 month on SF Etsy reviews regarding the bane: It seems i am not the only one.

"The saber is wonderfully made and assembled. The only reason I am giving it a 4/5 is because the listing said it comes in 5 different textures/designs. However, when mine arrived it was not the texture/design I asked for and was told that is because the item is sold through ETSY that there are limited items. So before buying please ask what is available."

"I love this saber I really really do. But I got the wrong color scheme but it's cool I will live with it for now."

I hope i can get something sorted out with SF, so far their support have been supurb! So far have been a happy customer with my SF, Arbiter, Acolyte, Consular, Bastion, Katano, chosen and hopefully also with my 7th SF the bane as well

I see. In that case you can always ask for a refund. Best to take this up with SF by email. Thanks for sharing your experience and I can see your concerns. I'm with you in that the customer should get exactly what he paid for. As we know, SF does go the extra step to keep customers happy.
