I LOVE IT!

I see where the term "ergonomic" thin-neck came from. This guy seems even more of a dueler than the Exhalted, due to the increased grippable area towards the pommel, and the rounded section (as opposed to the grenade style) just under the emitter. Also, the thin parts of the emitter look a little beefier than the ones on the Exhalted/Prodigal Son/Redeemer. Not sure if that is intended to make them stronger (though I have personally never seen the need), or a way to increase the size of the hole to allow more light to get through from the LED. Perhaps both.

I asked that question of the guy who posted this on the FB group, but he has not yet answered. I will let you know what he says if he does respond.

Hm. I'm actually very impressed. I personally don't particularly like TN hilts, aesthetic thing I suppose, but this thing really seals it for me. Not overly complicated, and a slightly thicker neck. This bad boy just might replace the Arbiter as my first SF buy.

Wonder if it's possible to get one with a D-ring pommel (like the Greflex pommel on the ASP builder), instead of a covertec, though...

Wow. I was planning on making a Gladius my first saber, but after seeing that Count I gotta get that. I hope they don't start selling it too soon though, as I only have about half of what a Champion Edition saber would cost and I don't want them all selling out before I can snag one. Darth Tyranus was the coolest thing about the prequels and I'd flip to be able to get his saber

Have not heard anything to the contrary, but also have no idea where it is in the long list of things they want to do in the first few months of the year. Obviously, the 3 (or 4?) new Apprentice sabers will be first, since they have already been announced. We know work has started on the Legacy sabers, and that the Custom Shop is devoting a lot of their resources to getting that done. The ASP parts are anticipated to start shipping in the next month or two, and that is quite a bit for the first quarter of the year. If they manage to sneak in more new models in the midst of all that, nobody would be happier than myself!

Anybody have any ideas on when a new soundfont (newer to the Viridium) and v5 blade will be released? I do not want to buy a saber and then it becomes immediately obsolete.
