It's a Lithium Ion battery. I don't know about carry on, but I think a lot of people put sabers in their checked baggage when they fly. Some people also send theirs ahead to where they're going via UPS.

Basically you should follow whatever the airline's rules are for vapes, since sabers and those use the same batteries. I've seen people on the FB groups just tell the TSA guys that it's an "electronic prop replica" and they get through security just fine. You may need to let them play with it a bit though.

In the US, you're fine with carry-on or checked as long as the lithium-ion is installed in its intended device. Any standalone spare batteries need to be in carry-on though.

I had no trouble bringing four saber hilts in my carry-on with the 30" blades in my checked luggage.

That's right, it was the Li-Ion batteries in checked baggage that caused issues. It makes sense that you can carry it on, since you can carry on phones, tablets and laptops.

Thanks for the answers everyone. The flight Company said the allowed amount of lithium in the batteries are 2 g and a maximum capacity of 100 Wh. Is the acolyte saber below that?

Also I am thinking of buying more LED:s to my saber. Do i need to buy additional quick qonnects? Do i require 1 qucik connect for every LED i buy

Yeah, the SF batteries are under 13Wh, so no worries there.
