Good morning fellows :)
Got some questions about the Count lightsaber:
1. Is it a limited edition saber, so do I need to be quick to get one?
2. If it is, will I be able to buy an Initiate grade saber and install the Plug and Play electronics sold on their website?

I've read that it's limited to a run of 200, so you may want to get one. How accurate that is or whether it is going to change is uncertain. I like to err on the side of caution. You can buy an Initiate tier. If you want to us PNP, make sure you get one with the extra hole drilled so that the 12mm switch will fit. I don't know how creative you'll have to get with the install, though, or if the wires will be long enough, etc.

Is there someone who knows if the cables of the plug and play kits are long enough?
Also, can I unmount/open the red latch (that hides the buttons on the higher tiers) to mount my parts onto it?
And: what features does the Veteran tier have? Same as Warrior (+sound), same as Hero/Champion, especially regarding switch position etc

Hey guys, I had the same question. So I asked SFCS. Check out this forum and I explain it a little more.

Hm... So limited. Probably should grab one fast then...
The description makes it clear what the Warrior and Hero/Champion feature, but no mention of the veteran tier.
Where's the switch located on Veteran? On the same spot as the warrior or under the red latch?
Can the latch be opened to install a Plug and Play switch on an Initiate saber?

The Veteran soundboard came out after The Count, so I am not sure that is a situation that has come up to this point. Check with CS. They should be able to get you an answer. :)

And is the pommel detachable?

I was wondering the same thing. It doesn’t matter to me, since I already purchased it. But it would still be nice to know, you know, before I mess it up by forcing it lol

So, here are my questions that require answering before I order:
1. Is the pommel detachable?
2. Is there a Covertech wheel on the saber or a spot where I can fix one?
3. Is a charger included in the order of a Veteran Count?

Again, I still ponder the pommel, however I can answer the others.

A black covertech wheel is already attached, but is removable with an Allen key (different size as the blade and LED retention screws) and I’m not sure if it can be moved from one side of the saber to the other. I’ve looked at The Count on Saberforge’s website, and only the third picture shows the covertech wheel.

And a charger comes standard with warrior, veteran, champion, and hero tiered sabers. It is a different charger for warrior sabers since you’re recharging the actual 18650 battery. With sabercore 2.0, it takes a round plug, and sabercore 3.0 and veteran take micro usb to charge directly in the hilt (in-hilt recharge). I never had a hero tier saber, so I don’t know if it’s different, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same.

I think the Warrior Count has in-hilt recharge as well, says so in the Description

That is true. It’s in the pommel. I saw it in a YouTube video where someone shows off his warrior tier Count, and it has the av switch in the neck of the saber, and a dummy switch just below it. The Count, however, is the only saber where that is the only option. Otherwise, the saber would come with an 18650 rechargeable battery and a charger for it. On regular warrior tiered saber, you can get in-hilt recharge, but you have to pay extra for it.

Since I did my install on the Count, I can answer that.

The pommel itself is 2 parts: the central ridge retained by a screw near the recharge port and the round part held by the 2 brass side screws to the screwable lower tube.

Is there any information how many Counts are still available of the 200-piece limited run?
Because I was looking on info on that and a 4 month old post stated that they were close to sold out

Customer service would probably be your best bet. They might only give you a range tho. Like 50-80, or something of the sort.
If you get any info, please post it here. It’d be nice to know.
