Hey all,

I have the beautiful champion tier Reborn, and the other day I picked it up to show someone and felt a rattle inside. I unscrewed the pommel to take a peak and found the Speaker dangling freely sideways (see pic).

So what's my best course of action here? I'm not honestly sure how it's supposed to look, as I'd never looked inside the bottom before. Any help appreciated!

SF does not use a chassis for their installs, and in some of the installs the speaker is loose and often olny held in place either by a C-clip or pressure from the pommel.

In your case it looks like there is a C-Clip - You can use some tiny needle nose pliers or a special tool designed for those clips to remove the clip, lay the speaker back flat and then secure it by putting the C-Clip back in.

Option B would be a full tear down of the saber and rebuild with a proper chassis.

Thanks for the info! So since I haven't seen how it's supposed to be set up, I want to make sure I understand this. Should the speaker be past the C-clip and closer to the pommel then?

No, it should be behind the c-clip, and the clip moved closer to the speaker to keep it from moving. Don't worry...the sound will still be loud if it is away from the pommel. In fact, the acoustics might make it sound better than if it were right next to the pommel.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

You'll get better acoustics if it's higher up.
